I love to travel, see new places, experience cultures, and meet different people. The back of my head can also be seen at many a live music gig. I have been standing on the barrier at the front since I started in 1977. I like most genres of music from opera to country, from classical to soul, and then especially to reggae, rock, and most definitely punk. My gig tickets over the next couple of months include the French Alps, Venice, and a mini tour of Ireland & Athens.

I am definitely what you would call a foodie. I am pescatarian, although I happily cook meat for friends.

I enjoy a drink from time to time, too, but I’m just as happy being the designated driver. Looking after people is one of my core values.

My hobbies include walking, gym, skiing, cooking, theatre, cinema, eating out, eating in, watching most sports, reading motivational books, driving convertible cars, clothes (be it more formal or t-shirts & casual shirts)… plus as already mentioned much travel & live music.

I am also known by friends as the mad cat man. I love cats, from having three amazing cats at home to helping run a cat café in the UK, and then to helping run a rescue shelter on the island where my second home is. I love all animals, in fact, but cats are certainly my passion.
