Hi, I’m Ethan – I love nature, animals, and sharing incredible experiences with new and interesting people.

Who am I? I am 23 years old. I just moved to Orlando, Florida about a week ago. That said, I’m happy to travel anywhere in the world subject to paid expenses and a fair notice period.

I come from a family of 4. My mom was a teacher. My dad didn’t work much and my sister is now in law school. When I was 17, I left my small little hometown, Palm Coast, on a greyhound bus to go live in Nashville, Tennessee for a year. Then I went to Indiana for 2 years and had a place on my own! Then I lived on the north side of Chicago for 3 years and now I’m back to my native home of Florida, the sunshine state.

I love animals, especially cats. I believe in nature – that it’s an all-mighty, mysterious force I can’t quite seem to wrap my head around fully. I write lots of poetry. Writing is definitely my outlet when I need a break from the world. It’s saved me.

I also read a lot of books (and love them all). I don’t spend a whole lot of time on technology because I don’t think it’s good for the brain, unlike most people of my generation. I’m more of an outdoorsy kind of guy.

I like to take walks, go to the park, sit on the beach, pick fruit off the loquat trees, look upon the stars in the night sky, take a dip in the swimming pool, and witness life as it is, with no pressure or preconceived notions. I like to think the world is bigger than ourselves. I guess you could say, I am a simple being.

But I’m jazz, I’m folk, I’m blue, I’m green. I’m a little bit of everyone; I see a part of myself in everybody that I meet. It reminds me that I’m not alone, that we are all more similar than we realize.

I am a very hard worker. I’ve been working hard for almost my whole life, because I believe in the importance of bettering myself. I’m always striving for the best, most fulfilling things in life. I am very kind (almost to a fault).

I will be anyone’s friend. Talk to anyone I meet on the street. I am very personable and have great communication skills. I don’t judge people for the way they are, I accept them for themselves. I’m always trying to lift people up.

I’m very smart, not just book smart, but street smart. I’ve had tons of unique and different experiences in my short life that allow me to connect with other people better. And be more wise going forward.

I also have empathy and compassion. I care for people who I don’t even know. I think everyone deserves to have good things happen to them and refuse to add in any negativity or hate in the world. We already have enough of that.

I’m very loyal and always discreet. I’ve really only ever worked in schools most of my life. I am dedicated to being a teacher and plan on going back for a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

I’m very well rounded, I have a bunch of different unique things that compose my identity. If I’m being honest, you probably won’t ever meet someone quite like me. I definitely stand out in a crowd. I am the same person to everyone. Always genuine.

How I carry myself, the ways I interact with people, my ability to empathize with people, they all matter in the world because you don’t want to be with someone who makes you scared or uncomfortable. That’s not good. I’m very determined, when I put my mind towards something I usually get it done, even against all odds, and when the world seems impossible.
