Hi, I’m Alex, and I’ve never been particularly good at living a conventional life.

I love travelling, discovering new places and meeting people who see the world a little differently. I grew up in the UK, but have spent considerable time overseas in Australia, Asia, and Latin America. Whenever I’m somewhere new, I’m usually more interested in finding the best local coffee, restaurant or beach than ticking off a list of tourist attractions.

Music has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve played guitar since I was a teenager and have spent years performing live, from acoustic gigs to playing in bands. I’m a big fan of artists like John Mayer, and music from the ‘70s and ‘80s.

I’m also a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I love the challenge and the discipline of it. I’m definitely competitive by nature, although I promise I’m much more relaxed outside the gym!

I enjoy training, being outdoors and generally keeping active, but I’m just as happy spending an afternoon over coffee or an evening discovering a great restaurant. I’m confident and sociable without taking myself too seriously, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know the person I’m with.

If you want a discreet plus one who can hold a conversation and fit comfortably into any room, someone to discover a new restaurant or city with, a companion for a concert or event, or simply someone to switch off and enjoy some time with, I can fill that role.

I live in Surrey but don’t mind travelling assuming expenses are covered and I’m given enough notice.
