I’m James, an Irish guy based in London with an easy-going personality and an Irish accent that usually gets noticed before anything else.

I’m 6’0”, athletic, and spend a lot of my free time in the gym or training MMA. Outside of that, I enjoy keeping things simple—finding a great Italian restaurant, sharing a bottle of good wine, cooking at home, or settling down with a Sunday roast.

If there’s a TV on, it’s probably The Sopranos, Breaking Bad or Suits, and if I’m reading, it’s usually something about psychology or philosophy. Some of my favourite books are Think and Grow Rich, How to Win Friends and Influence People, and 12 Rules for Life. As for movies, I’ll watch anything by Quentin Tarantino or Christopher Nolan.

I’ve spent years working in high-level sales and graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Business. That taught me how to read the room, listen properly, and make people feel comfortable without forcing conversation. I’m naturally calm rather than loud, and I think the best company comes from two people genuinely enjoying each other’s time together.

If you handed me the plans for an afternoon or evening in London, I’d probably start with a flat white or an Old Fashioned somewhere relaxed before heading to a quality Italian restaurant. My go-to steak is always a fillet, cooked medium, and I’m always happy with good food, good wine and even better conversation.

If we’re talking holidays, Marbella is my favourite place to switch off, and I’d happily swap London’s streets for the Spanish sunshine whenever I get the chance. Whether it’s a dinner date, a formal event, a business function or a weekend city break, I’m just as comfortable dressing up for the occasion as I am enjoying a relaxed evening getting to know someone.

Although I’m based in London, I’m happy to travel throughout the UK and internationally with suitable notice and travel arrangements.
